New distribution structure in Eastern Europe.

The maxon motor Group continues to strengthen its local services and takes over the drive business for maxon drive systems in the Eastern European region from Uzimex AG.

After more than 30 years of successful cooperation in the field of drive technology, Uzimex handed over the exclusive sales and distribution of maxon motor products to the maxon motor Group on May 1, 2012. Vienna-based Kwapil & Co. GmbH, a company of the maxon motor Group, will distribute the precision drives in Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, and Hungary on the Group's behalf. The Uzimex employees who were previously responsible for the maxon product program, including brushless and brushed DC motors, gearheads and control electronics, will continue their work for the maxon motor Group.
